Image Island 4 with 2440 Palm trees
How was it done? The island is the same as Island 4, but I added about 2440 palm trees. (20 million polygons!) The image is very slow to render. (1152 x 864, Final: about 20 hours (!) on a Athlon 650 Mhz, 128 MB RAM system).
Render time for 800 * 600, Final 6 h 7 min 12 s (!) This is 80 times longer than the render time of "Island 4" (4 min 31 s)!

Render time: 90 hours (= about 4 days)

well done, the water is perfect, but the sand is a bit unreal but doesn't matter it's great!
